Xbox Play Anywhere Coming To All Microsoft Games

Microsoft has just announced that all of their published games will be available on Xbox Play Anywhere.

This was revealed in the midst of a huge Windows 10 anniversary update. Windows’ corporate vice president Yusuf Mehdi said on the Windows blog, “Every new title published from Microsoft Studios will support Xbox Play Anywhere and will be easily accessible in the Windows Store”. He also spoke about a slew of upcoming games that are also going to be featured in the program soon.

Xbox Play Anywhere was first seen at E3 2016. All games included in Xbox Play Anywhere will be cross-buy and cross-play between Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. The program is simple: buy one copy and you get to play on both platforms whenever. This also means that your saves, progress, and achievements will carry over to whichever version you decide to play on.

The first game coming to Xbox Play Anywhere is Recore on September 13. Other titles on the way are Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4, and Halo Wars 2.

Below is a list that IGN has compiled of all the games currently announced on Xbox Play Anywhere.

Mehdi also stated that, “Every new title published from Microsoft Studios that we showed onstage at E3 this year will support Xbox Play Anywhere and will be easily accessible in the Windows Store”. That means all of the hype games from E3 can be accessed conveniently. Out of the 15+ list of Xbox Play Anywhere, what title are you most excited for?
