Pokemon Go Developer Niantic have announced that the game is now available in over twenty different regions. These regions include Austria, Belgium, Iceland, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Slovenia, Switzerland and Poland.
Certain big ones like France and Russia are still in development but compared to what was around before and the baffling speed of adoption, it’s impressive that Niantic were able to get various versions of Pokemon Go out to these locations so quickly.

Niantic’s augmented reality game involving Nintendo’s colorful and iconic monsters have taken the world by storm. Due to the outrageous popularity of this new game, in a few short days the number of users have eclipsed Twitter accounts, Niantic have very slowly been rolling out Pokemon Go’s international release in order to maintain server stability and to patch out any launch issues.
Just from the game’s initial launch in those small nations, Nintendo has seen a massive profit. Their stock has increased by 25% after Pokemon Go’s launch, which translates to billions of dollars in revenue. The last time the company had such a significant boost in their stocks was when they launched the original Famicom in Japan back in 1984.
