Call of Duty XP Fan Event Comes to Los Angeles


Call of Duty XP, the biggest Call of Duty fan event in history, comes to Los Angeles from September 2 to 4. This event gathers the best eSports players from around the world to compete for more than $2 million in prizes at the Call of Duty World League Championship, Presented by PlayStation 4. Attendees will also be able to experience a paintball themed, life-sized Call of Duty: Black Ops Nuketown multiplayer map. They will also be able to play laser tag inspired by Infinite Warfare‘s new zombies game mode.

The fan celebration includes the world premiere and first hands-on of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer and new downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. It will also feature interactive COD-themed Activations, including the first COD VR experience, exhibits, developer panels, a surprise musical guest and more.

Call of Duty XP Ticket Information

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. PDT on June 11. Tickets will be available at three price levels: general admission ($49) allows seating for three days at the Call of Duty World League Championship and access to the Call of Duty XP gameplay. A veteran ticket ($129) allows everything mentioned before and the $80 digital legacy edition of Infinite Warfare and a care package with exclusive “swag.” A prestige ticket ($199) allows for everything mentioned before, player meet and greets, access to the VIP lounge, parking pass, premium seating for the Infinite Warfare multiplayer reveal and league championship, and a $100 digital deluxe version of Infinite Warfare. All ticket levels will include bonus digital content for Black Ops III and Infinite Warfare, which include a calling card and weapon camo for each game. This event presents the finals of the Call of Duty World League Championship after nearly a year of competition across the goal.  Major League Gaming is the official tournament operator of the Call of Duty World League Championship.

Call of Duty XP will also feature a hands-on experience with multiplayer of Infinite Warfare. The multiplayer session will feature Infinity Ward’s new cooperative zombies mode. All Call of Duty XP attendees will have the chance to compete for prizes in 6 vs. 6 competitive matches at more than 500 gameplay stations that’ll be set up for fans to enjoy.
