August DLC Announced for Rock Band 4


Harmonix Music Systems, Inc. has just announced some new information about Rock Band 4‘s August DLC. They are planning to have 10 new songs available for download from the Rock Band DLC music library this month. Harmonix only officially revealed two of the songs coming in August to Xbox One and Playstation 4:

Counting Crows – “Mr. Jones”
Robin Thicke ft. Pharrell – “Blurred Lines”

These songs will cost $1.99 each, along with the rest of the August DLC tracks. While Harmonix hasn’t said much about the other songs coming, they have released a list of artists who will be collaborating with Rock Band this month.

Jason Mraz
Nicki Minaj
Tonic
Vertical Horizon
Winger

Rock Band is known for it’s quality DLC and last month shows that Rock Band 4 is steadily upholding that reputation. In July, the game opened up pre-orders for a new expansion pack to Rock Band 4 called Rock Band Rivals. It’s available both standalone and bundled with the full game. More information is available on their website. Harmonix is also offering an added bonus of ten DLC songs to Rock Band fans who pre-order Rock Band Rivals. The pre-order songs are listed below:

Bring Me The Horizon – “Happy Song”
Capital Cities – “Safe and Sound”
Eagle-Eye Cherry – “Save Tonight”
The Neighbourhood – “Sweater Weather”
Of Monsters And Men – “Little Talks”
Pharrell Williams – “Happy”
Semisonic – “Closing Time”
Sia – “Chandelier”
Skillet – “Feel Invincible”
Weezer – “King of the World”

But wait, There’s more! More location exclusive pre-order bonuses include a special edition Wireless Grey Fender Jaguar Guitar Controller at Gamestop or an extra 2 tracks: Maroon 5 “One More Night” and Matchbox 20 “3AM” if you decide to preorder from Amazon.
